American Diabetes Association Colorado appoints Chief Medical Officer of Allscripts Analytics as New Member to Community Leadership Board

The American Diabetes Association’s Community Leadership Board is comprised of 18 proven leaders from all sectors of Colorado’s business and healthcare communities. The Board works to bring the mission of the
Dr. Paruk provides medical leadership to a world-class team to develop, design and deploy predictive models to improve health. She is a physician and public health specialist that has been extensively involved in health systems and global surgical initiatives. Recently, she has worked to utilize real-world big data to analyze the progression of diabetes and has led the development of clinical decision support content for diabetes and prediabetes management for integration into electronic health records at the point of care. In addition to her executive role, Fatima remains committed to disaster response and has been involved in the development of Kenya’s National Emergency Care policy.
“It is an honor to join the American Diabetes Association Colorado Community Leadership Board,” said Dr. Paruk. “Diabetes is a complex and costly disease that can lead to serious life-threatening complications.
